HYPER, the native token of Hyperlane, an interoperability protocol facilitating cross-chain communication, is set to be listed on Binance following an exclusive TGE campaign hosted via Binance Wallet.
In an April 21 official announcement, crypto exchange Binance revealed that it will list HYPER on April 22, 2025, at 13:00 UTC, offering trading pairs with USDT, USDC, BNB, FDUSD, and TRY. The tokens will be available on the Binance Smart Chain and the Ethereum network.
Prior to the spot listing, the exchange will hold an exclusive TGE campaign hosted through Binance Wallet, offering 20 million HYPER tokens at a price of $0.03 each, aiming to raise $600,000. The TGE subscription period is from April 22, 2025, from 09:00 AM to 11:00 AM UTC.
Following this, HYPER will then be available on Binance Alpha, Binance’s platform for early-stage projects, starting at 11:10 UTC. Additionally, Binance is conducting an airdrop and will distribute 20 million HYPER tokens to eligible BNB holders who subscribed to Simple Earn or On-Chain Yields between April 14 and April 17, 2025.
Per the announcement, the airdrop tokens will be automatically transferred to each user’s Spot Account at least 1 hour before trading starts.
In terms of tokenomics, HYPER will have a genesis supply of 802.67 million tokens, with a maximum cap of 1 billion. At the time of its Binance listing, 175.2 million tokens or approximately 21.8% of the genesis supply, will enter circulation.
Of the total supply, 57% is allocated to the community and will be fully unlocked at the time of distribution. The remaining 43% is reserved for the team, investors, and the foundation, with a vesting period of 12 months.
Besides Binance, other exchanges that have vowed support for HYPER include MEXC, KuCoin, ByBit, and Gate.io.
What is Hyperlane?
Hyperlane was launched in 2022 as an interoperability protocol that allows different blockchains to communicate. It allows decentralized applications to send and receive messages across chains and aims to make cross-chain operations efficient, secure, and developer-friendly.
The network is powered by the HYPER token, which will be used to cover messaging fees, incentivise participants who help maintain and secure the protocol, and enable community governance over future upgrades and configurations.
In 2022, the project raised $18.5 million in a seed funding round led by Variant, with participation from other major firms such as Galaxy Ventures, CoinFund, Circle Ventures, and Kraken Ventures, among others.
